Humane Society Sets 'Freaker's Ball' Fund-Raiser

Oct. 28, 2004 – The third annual Freaker's Ball to benefit the Humane Society of St. Thomas will take place Saturday, Oct. 30. Instead of your pets, organizers want you to show up in costume, 9 p.m. – 4 a.m.
Location is The Green House Bar and Restaurant on Veteran's Drive. Prizes will be presented in the following costume categories: Scariest, Couples and/or Group, Humorous, Best Animal, Most Original and Best Drag.
Once again, Darr Conradson will be on hand to move the party along, and organizers promise you won't forget this party.
A portion of the $25 cover will be donated to the Paws to Care Capital Campaign.
Humane Society members save $5 off admission, with a current membership card. Advance tickets are $20.
It's sponsored by Coors Light, Smirnoff and The Green House to benefit the Humane Society of St. Thomas.
