College Programs Set at Antilles School

October 17, 2004 – Robert Massa of Dickinson College will present a college night program on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. to interested students and parents. A main focus of this program will be reading actual completed college applications and making admissions "decisions" in committee. In this way, students and parents will look closely at what works in gaining acceptance to good colleges.
Massa will also answer questions about any aspect of the application or financial aid process.
On Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. representatives from the University of Chicago, Wesleyan University, and Yale University will speak on their schools and selective college admissions.
Chicago offers merit scholarships; Wesleyan highly values diversity; and Yale, is, well, Yale – alma mater of both President George W. Bush and Sen.
John F. Kerry. Students with brains and ambition – and their parents – are welcome.
Both programs will be held in the Kimelman Library.
