Wellness Seminar Is Free to Public

Oct. 12, 2004 – If you're interested in your health, make plans to attend the Wellness Seminar from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 27 at Palms Court Harborview Hotel.
Valerie Hill, a Houston-based organizer, has lined up two speakers for the free event. "They'll be speaking on health and wellness trends, the importance of supplements and diet awareness," she said.
Biochemist Ray Robbins will discuss health and wellness trends, health issues and how to take charge of your own health to improve disease conditions.
Dr. Stephen Boyd is involved in the research and development of naturally occurring compounds as therapeutics and nutritional supplements. He is the medical director and administrator of the medical research department at Mannatech in Coppell, Texas. Mannatech sells nutritional supplements.
Hill said she conducts similar seminars all over the world. She said she decided to hold one in the Virgin Islands because she had a contact and she'd never been there before. For information, call Linton Lake at 774-4445.
