Services Organized for Melvina Hodge Wheatley, 100

Oct. 5, 2004 – Services will be held Thursday on St. Thomas and Saturday on Tortola for Melvina Hodge Wheatley, also known as "Grannie" or "Ms. Mena," who died Saturday, Oct. 2, at the age of 100.
She is survived by her sister Francis Cills Wells, and grandchildren John, Joanne and Monique McCleverty, Cecil, Calvin, Cherie and Attalia Wheatly.
Viewings are scheduled Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home chapel, and on Tortola at the Methodist Church, Sea Cows Bay, from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, immediately followed by services. Interment is at the Hodge Family Cemetery, Tortola.
