Senseless Death Proves V.I. Needs Death Penalty

I think that this [the death of Leon Bowery] was clearly the act of not only a coward, but a stupid coward. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Virgin Islands needs to impose strict death penalty laws. Let these criminal elements know that this sort of senseless violence will not be tolerated in the Virgin Islands (kill and you will be executed). This innocent child had nothing to do with whatever was going on with these people, but, unfortunately he and his brother were the two victims. No mother should have to experience the pain of losing her 4-year-old child to this kind of violence. I will keep his parents in my prayer and hope that the violence ends here.
