Police Name Suspects in Friday's Shooting

Sept. 27, 2004 — Michael S. Davis, 31, of 394-238 Estate Anna’s Retreat and 27-year-old Akeam K. Davis of Tutu Housing Community, Building No. 7 have been arrested and are being held in lieu of payment of $50,000 bail in connection with a shooting in Anna's Retreat Friday morning. The as yet unnamed victim, a 26-year-old man from Estate Bonne Esperance, was taken to Roy L. Schneider Hospital after the shooting. His condition is unknown.
Both men were charged with third degree assault and possession of an unlicensed firearm. Unable to post bail both suspects remain in custody at the Corrections Bureau on St. Thomas, according to a release from Sgt. Thomas Hannah, Police Department spokesman.
