Distance Courses on Funding Offered to Nonprofits

Sept. 24, 2004 – Beyond Visions Foundation invites nonprofits to take advantage of distance-learning courses providing training in finding grants and capacity building. Classes will be held during September to November, and each is 90 minutes in length.
The trainers prefer only five participants per class, with a maximum of 10. Cost is $15 each. For more information, leave your name, phone number and e-mail address at the foundation's office at 715-4790. They will arrange for the call-ins.
Topics include presenting your organization's message, campaigns, funding sources, sustainable income ideas, and the roles of the board, staff, volunteers and consultants in nonprofit organizations.
