Coral World Offers $1 Admission to V.I. Residents

Sept. 17, 2004 – Both remaining weekends in September, Coral World is offering local admission rate of only $1 for adults and children. To qualify for the special admission rate guests must bring proof of V.I. residency, according to press materials.
All of Coral World’s exhibits will be open, including the Undersea Observatory, and guests can take part in the daily fish feedings that are scheduled throughout the day. New offerings include the "GloFish," tiny freshwater fish genetically engineered to glow in the dark, and an airbrush tattoo booth, where guests can choose from designs for a professional temporary tattoo. The park is open from 9 am to 5 pm. (ticket booth closes at 4 pm.) For more information, call 775-1555.
