Terrence T. Joseph, St. Croix superintendent, has announced the school opening and orientation schedule for the St. Croix district.
All elementary schools
Wednesday, Aug. 25 Returning students
Thursday, Aug. 26 – Orientation for new, transfer and kindergarten students; returning students report for a full day of instruction.
Students are to report at 8:30 a.m. Kindergarten students must be accompanied by their parents or guardians, who should be prepared to participate in the orientation session.
Junior high schools and the Positive Connections Alternative School
Wednesday, Aug. 25 — eight-graders report at 8 a.m.
Thursday, Aug. 26 seventh-graders report at 8 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 27 all students should report at the regular school starting time
Students, including new and transfer, should be dressed in proper school uniform when attending orientation. Seventh– grade students must be accompanied by parents or guardians. Class schedules will be distributed, and ID pictures and school insurance will be processed.

St. Croix Educational Complex High School
Wednesday, Aug. 25 — 11th and 12th grade
Thursday, Aug. 26, — 10th grade
Friday, Aug. 27 ninth–grade, (orientation and tour)
Monday, Aug. 30 all students should report at 7:55 a.m. for a full day of instruction
Orientation sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. for returning, new and transfer students.
During orientation class schedules will be distributed. ID pictures ($15) and school insurance ($10) will be processed and must be paid for by cash or money order.. Students must be in proper school uniform and accompanied by their parents or guardians
St. Croix Central High School
Wednesday, Aug. 18 — 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m –12th grade
Thursday, Aug. 19 — 8:30 a.m. 1 p.m. — 11th grade
Friday, Aug. 20 — 8:30 a.m. -1p.m. — 10th grade
Sunday, Aug. 22 3-6 p.m. — 9th grade students whose last names begin with the letters A through K
Monday, Aug. 238:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m. — 9th grade students whose last names begin with the letters L through Z.
Wednesday, Aug. 25 — All students should report on for a full day of instruction.
