WAPA: Water Outage Due to Electrical Line Work

Aug. 18, 2004 – The Water and Power Authority anticipated that an emergency water interruption in Hospital Ground would be resolved by 6 p.m. Wednesday, WAPA announced in a release.
The potable water line was damaged during construction work in connection with the utility's ongoing efforts to place electrical lines underground, the release stated.
The underground electrical duct project is a phase of the $5 million new Feeder 13 loop system WAPA is constructing to improve electrical distribution in the district, it said.
