Artists Association Showing New Works by Members

Aug. 10, 2004- This Friday the 13th is a good-luck day for the island's art lovers. That's when the Artists Association of St. John is holding a showing of new works by members.
The exhibition is being held at the AASJ Gallery on the second floor of the Marketplace.
An opening reception will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. "Please stop by and see some new art and some old friends," an announcement states.
The association is a not-for-profit organization formed to promote the visual arts and art education on St. John. Members include painters, sculptors, woodworkers, glassworkers, metalworkers and photographers.
