Weed and Seed, Rotary Hosting Back-to-School Fair

Aug. 4, 2004 – The Grove Place Weed and Seed organization in conjunction with Rotary West will hold a Back-to-School Information Resource Fair on Aug. 19 next to the Grove Place fire station.
Weed and Seed coordinator Denise Lewis said in a release that the back-to-school outreach offerings will include immunizations, Head Start recruitment, health education information, parenting skills information, fire prevention tips, adult literacy information and information about the V.I. Resource Center for the Disabled.
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Police Commission Elton Lewis asked members of the community to come out and support the efforts of the Weed and Seed and Rotary groups.
