Donnie McClurkin Featured in Blessings in Paradise

August 4, 2004- Grammy Award winner Donnie McClurkin will perform in concert on St. Thomas on Saturday, Sept. 4. at the Lionel Roberts Stadium at 7 p.m. McClurkin will appear as one of the featured artists for Blessings in Paradise. An IQ Enterprises Production, Blessings in Paradise, is a blend of Gospel talent that also feature worship singer and songwriter Martha Munizzi (mew-NIZ-ee) and St. Thomas' own, Belinda Telemaque.
Charlotte Amalie High School Band Boosters and Jubilaition! Outreach Ministries are helping to bring show. IQ Enterprises, owned by Ishmeal Queeley, better known as "IQ" has produced sold-out events on St. Thomas, such as Yolanda Adams in Paradise, God’s Trying to Tell You Something and South of Where We Live.
Tickets are on sale now at outlets on St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix and Tortola. Tickets for Blessings in Paradise will be available at a discount until Aug. 7, general admission tickets will be $10 and the VIP seating will be $20. McClurkin's recent CD "…Again" won him the 2004 Grammy Award, as well as the 2004 NAACP Image Award for Gospel Artist of the Year. McClurkin is also on the threshold of a new release entitled "Hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual Songs."
McClurkin is the Senior Pastor at Perfecting Faith, located in Freeport, N. Y.. He has also published his first book, Eternal Victim/Eternal Victor, which reflects on his past and parallels his family circumstances with biblical families. He is frequently featured at mega ministry events, such as Bishop T.D. Jakes Ministry, Pastors Benny Hinn, and Carlton Pearson's Azusa Crusades and Conferences.
Martha Munizzi is an internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, speaker and one of America's most popular worship leaders. Her latest CD, "The Best Is Yet To Come," was recorded live at Pastor Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.
Telemaque, born in St. Thomas, is presently a Praise Team member and solo vocalist at the Christ Fellowship Church in West Palm Beach, Fla, a non-denominational assembly with over 10,000 members She has made various guest appearances on WTCE, a Trinity Broadcasting Network affiliate station in Fort Pierce, Fla. Telemaque launched out into full-time ministry in November 2003. Her latest CD project, "He Loves Me," was recently released in three cities in Japan.
