Services for Gerard Luz A. James III Will Be July 22

July 16, 2004 – Gerard Luz A. James III, 23, died July 13 in Washington, D.C.
A viewing will take place at James Memorial Home from 1 to 5 p.m. on July 21. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. July 22 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with viewing preceding at 10 a.m. The family requests that attendees wear festive colors.
Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
Known as "Luzzy," he is survived by his mother, Suzette Bough James; father, Gerard Luz James II; step-mother, Lisa Ann C. James; grandparents, Asta and Gerard Luz A. James; sisters, Jeneé, Jenelle and Jeilene James; adopted sister, Lorraine Cadet; companion, Tiffany Jackson; special friend, Vanessa Bonano; niece, Ayanna J. Pharoah; aunts, Joyce B. llanos, Barbara James-Petersen, Lucy Bough, Nilsa Bough, Daphne Bough, Valerie Roberson James, Brenda Brown-James and Linda Pedersen-Bough; uncles, Eric L. Bough, Emmeth C. James, Kelsey G. James, M.D., Luis S. Llanos Sr. and Kelvin R. Petersen Sr.; great-aunts, Anita Bough-Moorhead, Beryl Bough-Finch, Agneta Mulgrav, Daphne Klyvert-Abby, Maria Klyvert, Dorene Hector-James and Theresa Hack-James; great-uncles, Will Finch, Chet Abby and Wilfred A.
