Ray Anthony Charles Services Accent Afrocentricy

July 3, 2004 – Ray Anthony Charles, "Alemayo," 44, of Estate Whim, died on Saturday, June 26, 2004 in Washington D.C.
He is survived by his
mother, Phyllis Charles; father, Earl Charles; daughters, Naeemah Charles Franklin and Akilah Charles; son, Osiris Charles; sister, Alice Charles; brothers, Glenwood, Michael, Earl Jr., Wayne and Mark Charles; nieces, N'Zinga Charles, Natifa Charles, Quanda Charles, Shamir, Noelani Charles and Nyama Gibbs; nephews, Michael Jr., Shaka, Rasneed, Rakeem and Glenwood Charles, Jr.; Aunts, Eleanor Sealy, Gisbatine Houston, Bernice Greene and Violet De La Garde; uncles, Camile Paris, Lionel Edwards, Ronald Allick, Norman Erazo, Charles Capehart and Reuben Irwin; son-in-law, Clifton Franklin; Sister-In-Law, Marsha Charles; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at James Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. with viewing beginning at 9 a.m.
Interment will take place at Kingshill Cemetery.
The family request that those attending the celebration for his life should
wear afrocentric attire , preferably white.
