Fort Frederik Hosting Art of Graduating Seniors

June 5, 2004 – Fort Frederik Museum will host its first annual Graduating Seniors Student Art Show.
The opening reception for the exhibit, "Rights of Passage", will be held on Sunday, June 6, from 3p.m. to 6 p.m.
It is sponsored in part by the Virgin Islands Council of the Arts.
According to a press release from the office of Commissioner Dean C. Plaskett, Esq., of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, the purpose of the show is to give exposure and recognition to students for their artistic talents.
Graduating senior artists throughout St. Croix will compete for first, second and third place prizes. The artist will also receive recognition for their works, which will be on display in Fort Frederik Museum through July 9.
