Property Tax Increase Could be the Result of Loss of Development

The governor has done nothing that prevents the Red Hook Community Alliance from purchasing the property themselves. Why should a cash strapped Government buy land it can't afford to prevent the creation of jobs and increase of the tax base?
The territory needs additional sources of revenue. The additional sources of revenue could very well be an increase in property taxes if shortsighted people continue to try and block developments that would produce the needed revenues.
