General Gade to Be Closed Two Days for Paving

June 15, 2004 – Public Works crews will be paving General Gade between the 75 Corner intersection of Lower Main Street and the Romeo Malone Center in Savan on Wednesday and Thursday, according to a Government House release distributed on Tuesday afternoon.
The stretch of road will be closed to traffic and no parking will be allowed there until the resurfacing is completed. The work will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days.
Traffic signs and flaggers will be posted while the work is under way, the release stated.
