June 6, 2004 – The V. I. Housing Authority will be accepting employment applications for its annual Summer Day Camp in the St. Thomas/St. John District. Eight summer camp counselors will be hired.
Employment applications will be accepted from June 14 to June 18 from college students and high school graduates who are residents of public housing, Employees will work July 6 through Aug. 6, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for six weeks.
Employment applications can be picked up and returned to the authority's central office personnel department. In addition to the completed employment application, candidates must bring copies of their most recent report card or college transcript. Applicants are responsible for copying their documents before submission. Originals documents will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will not receive consideration.
Selections will be made from eligible applicants on a first come basis, considering individual qualifications, and according to date and time of receipt of required documents.
