Lecture and Summit On St. John Music

A free public program at the St. John School of the Arts will be presented by the Alton Augustus Adams Music Research Institute. Rockefeller fellow Dr. Kenneth Bilby will lecture on John Canoe (junkanoo), and a Summit on St. John Music will follow, honoring past and present musicians. Dr. Gilbert Sprauve is master of ceremonies, and there will be performances by Rudolph "Pimpy" Thomas, The Mighty Groover, and Koko and the Sunshine Band.
