Bolongo Beach Resort Chef Dies

May 25, 2004- Henry "Mamouse" Weekes of Estate Bolongo died on May 18, 2004 at the age of 68 at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital.Weekes was born in Barnes Ghut, Nevis. He worked as a chef at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort for 30 years. He loved to dance and take part in dancing, cricket and making jokes.
He is survived by his special friend, Lucina Hutchinson; s ons Devinson Weekes and Junie Weekes ; daughters, Demincia Dore and Olivern Harrigan; brother, David Weekes; sisters Violet Weekes, Rosalind Liburd and Eunice Doras; grandchildren, Rayvern Hodge and Jaida Harrigan and many other friends and relatives including Marsha Gibson, Richard Ireland, Four Star Laundromat management and staff, the Doumeng family, Patrick Ryan. Viola, Vanita and Ice.
Funeral Services are 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2004. Viewing is the preceding hour at Christchurch Methodist Western. Burial is at Western Cemetery 3.
