May 22, 2004 – A night of "Shining Stars," complete with dinner, modeling, a hat show and dancing, will be the year-end fund-raising effort of the Parent and Students Association for the University of the Virgin Islands Upward Bound Program on St. Croix.
The semi-formal gala, which will pay tribute to participating program students, will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, in the UVI cafetorium on St. Croix. The community is invited, a release said, and tickets may be purchased from Upward Bound Students or association members. Call Eustace Browne at 277-9490 for more information.
