May 16, 2004 – The 21st Annual Memorial Day 2-Mile Road Race will be held at 6 a.m. on Memorial Day, May 31, the V.I. Pace Runners has announced.
Registration begins at 5 a.m. at the V.I. Family Sports & Fitness Center. The course is from Beeston Hill to Christiansted.
Races Remaining in St. Croix's Road Race Season:
— May 31 – The 21st Annual Memorial Day 2 Mile Road Race at 6 a.m., Beeston Hill.
— June 6 – The 20th Annual The Women Race at 4:45 p.m., Frederiksted. Females only compete. "2004 in 2004": Goal is 2004 participants for the anniversary run, previous high 500+.
— June 12 – The 18th Annual Olympic Day Run at 5 p.m., University of the Virgin Islands (2 Miles). Trip to Athens Olympics raffle drawing.
