WRITER SEEKS HELP IN HER SEARCH FOR 'CHARLES'

Dear Source,
My name is Yolanda Jardine and I am desperately trying to locate my father-in-law, "Charles." As a result of the death of our beloved Sheryl Martin of St. Kitts in 1980, my husband, Michael Brent Jardine of Christianstead, St. Croix, was sent to live with an aunt when he was 8 and eventually lost contact with his father. We are not sure if "Charles" is his first or last name, but I would appreciate it if you could help me contact him.
I don't know much about "Charles," but I have been told that he works at the post office and that he has a sister who is a schoolteacher. I don't know her name either, but she taught my husband when he was a child and may know him by the name of "Mikey." I have also been told that my husband and his father look very much alike, so I'm including a picture of my husband that was taken in April.
If you are able to contact my father-in-law, please tell him that his son has grown up to be a loving husband and father, that he has spent the last 16 years of his life serving in the U.S. Army and that he is a staff sergeant who is currently participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Also, please let my father-in-law know that his granddaughters (ages 11, 6 and 18 months) and I send our love and would like to include a letter and a picture from him in our next care package to Michael.
Yolanda Jardine
