BUSINESS CENTER HOSTS CHAMBER

May 8, 2004- University of the Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center will host the next St. Thomas-St John Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours on Thursday, May 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at its location in Nisky Center, Suite 720.
There will be door prizes, complimentary hors d'oeuvres and the chamber $2 bar. A release from the chamber urged members, guests and potential members to attend.
2004 SBDC Small Business Honorees include the following individuals:
— Mariel, Akinyemi, and Felicia Blake, ITAL ASE
— Jason Budsan, Caribbean Herbals & Candles
— Ulysses and Ulric Pilgrim, Pilgrim Terrace
— Dr. Alexander "Alex" Randall: Citizen Award: VI Community Advocate of the Year
Other key awards to be presented include Two SBDC Corporate V.I. Advocates of the Year Awards, the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Person of the Year and the SBA's V.I. Bank of the Year Award.
