THOMAS REMEMBERED BY FELLOW SOLDIERS IN IRAQ

May 4, 2004 — Soldiers from 3rd Battalion 82nd Field Artillery Regiment earlier this week saluted the ceremonial boots and weapon of their fellow fallen soldier Staff Sgt. Kendall Thomas. Thomas, a gunnery sergeant, served with the ‘Red Dragons’ for more than two years, according to a release from U.S. Army public affairs officer David Larsen in Baghdad.. During the memorial ceremony at Camp Victory North in Iraq, Thomas was remembered for his positive attitude and his exemplary commitment to the service and dedication to his fellow soldiers, the release said.
Thomas, a St. Thomas native, died in the line of duty April 28 in Baghdad.
