Why, exactly does the person heading the Head Start program need a bright, shiny, new, waxed, full-size, fully loaded Chevrolet SUV? Whoever it is parked in my private parking area yesterday for a while. Next time, be assured it'll be towed. Well, if a tow truck driver has the cahunas to tow a government vehicle, which I doubt. (That's a government/private sector scam subject for another rant).
If I park where I'm not supposed to, I get towed, pay at least $125 and as much as $200.
Can't afford books for students, but you can give this person a new SUV?
Can't operate the Motor Vehicle more than two hours a day so people can license and stay legal, but this person gets a free ride? My God, I was just reading an article from a stateside paper where a town larger than St. Thomas voted down buying an SUV for the police department in lieu of an economy vehicle because it was wasteful. They voted it down.
For goodness sake.
It's time to take this Territory back from the thieves, the two-hour government lunchers, the SUV/government cell phoners and the 'breakfast until 10:30 a.m." crowd. What a nauseating entitlement attitude.
How about a full blown, everyone participates, Tax Revolt for next April 15th?
When you see a government plate on a vehicle that's obviously a perk, point at them. Shake your finger at them. Let them know we've had enough and we're watching.
