SEA EARTH DAY CELEBRATION AT SOUTHGATE POND

St. Croix Environmental Association will pre-celebrate Earth Day at its Southgate Pond Nature Preserve Sunday, April 18 at 9 a.m. Marine
biologists Zandy Hillis-Starr and Marcia Taylor will lead a nature walk on the beach. From 10 to noon there will be a beach cleanup with trash
bags and gloves provided. Students can earn community service credit. At noon Carol Cramer-Burke, project manager, will reveal plans for the
preserve. The rest of the day is for picnicking (bring your own) and enjoying the beach.
