GUARDS NEED GUIDANCE CROSSING THE STREET

Dear Source,
Parents, teachers, school crossing guards need to be the ones setting examples to the children on the island. When young people see adults crossing in unmarked areas and on a green light, they think it is okay.
More often than not, the school crossing guards will walk into the street to stop the traffic when they should wait for the red light. This is sending the wrong message.
Maybe the school crossing guards need to be taught how to cross the street.
