Monday, March 29
Committee on Education and Youth – St. Croix – 4 p.m.
The Committee has scheduled a committee meeting and public hearing to discuss the following issues:
– Vocational Education Status: The Committee will hear testimony relating to the needs, deficiencies and vision for Vocational Education and Technical Education in the territory. Invited testifiers include V.I. Board of Education Chairman Harry Daniel and Executive Director Treganza Roach, among others.
– General Education Development Status: The Committee will hear testimony relating to the territory's GED program.
– – Bilingual Education Status: The Committee will hear testimony relating to the territory's Bilingual Education Programs.
Tuesday, March 30
Committee on Finance – St.Thomas – 10 a.m.
The Committee on Finance is scheduled to vote on the lease agreement between the Department of Property and Procurement and FLBN Sub Base Corporation.
In addition, the Committee will hear testimony concerning the V.I. Lottery. Issues to be considered include: revenue collections and operations, amounts due to the V.I. government from the V.I. Lottery, total amount collected from Caribbean Lottery Services Inc. and amounts it owes to the V.I government, and an update on the contract between V.I. Lottery and CLS.

Thursday, April 1
No meetings scheduled.
Friday, April 2
Committee on Public Safety, Judiciary, Homeland Security and Justice – St. Thomas – 6 p.m.
The Committee will hear testimony regarding Bill No. 25-0156 to amend Title 20 of the V.I. Code and also hear testimony regarding the Commercial Motor Vehicle Act of 2004, which was reassigned to the Committee on March 5 for public hearing.
