ESTATE CANE BAY RUINS RAMBLE SET FOR MARCH 21

March 14, 2004 – The St. Croix Landmarks Society is hosting a Ruins Ramble at Estate Cane Bay on March 21.
Participants will explore the grounds of the 18th century sugar plantation located on St. Croix's scenic North Shore, with local historian George Tyson providing historical interpretation of the well-preserved and extensive ruins.
The fee for the guided walking tour is $12 for the general public, $8 for Landmarks Society members and $6 for students. Those wishing to take part should meet at 3:30 p.m. on the North Shore Road (Route 80) about 200 yards west of the Cane Bay beach. Refreshments will be served at the end of the walk.
