TOURISM CHIEF ASSESSES ST. CROIX'S PROBLEMS

Well — that explains a lot! The reason St. Croix does poorly in the tourism market is because our tourism director says it deserves to! And aren't the national media going to have a heyday with her quote that St. Croix is "one of the filthiest islands in the Caribbean"!
We may be underpromoted and overpotholed, but we are not filthy. I invite Ms. Richards to visit and I will personally show her the beauty of the big island.

Editor's note: Although Tourism Commissioner Pamela Richards grew up on St. Thomas, she has been a St. Croix resident for many years.
