March 4, 2004 – Beyond Visions Foundation will conduct "Preliminary Grant Proposal Development" on Tuesday, March 16. The seminar is aimed at assisting grant seekers understand what they need to know and do prior to seeking grant funding or hiring a grant writer.
The seminar will be held on St. Croix at the UVI Research and Extension Center, Room 133, from 6 to 9 p.m. Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. The cost is $25 before March 13, $30 after March 14.
Topics will include Foundation Funding Trends, Tips on Researching, Gathering Organization Information; Tips to increase writing a successful proposal; Establishing Budget & Outline; Data base resources; Review of Basic Grant Preparation Steps, and Do's and Don'ts.
