Dear Source:
I wholeheartedly agree with Senator Donastorg that government pension contributions should be refunded to employees who left the government service prior to being vested. The contribution was not a matter of choice. It was forced and taken out of their pay check. No institution have a right to get a free loan without the owners consent. They have a right to be compensated by at least 4% to compensate for the loss of purchasing power. I am sure the government is investing the money and the employees have a right to get some of that interest. The whole purpose and objective of a pension scheme is to make former employees better off, not worst off.
