UVI-CELL CONDUCTING COMMUNITY NEEDS SURVEYS

Feb. 21, 2004 – Two community-based surveys are under way, one to identify training needs, and the second to identify potential consulting service needs in the community and identify individuals who can serve as consultants.
The surveys are conducted by UVI-CELL, the University of the Virgin Islands' Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning Center, according to a release.
The Training Needs Survey was distributed mid-January V.I. businesses throughout the territory. The Consulting and Professional Services Needs Survey will survey businesses, corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations over several weeks in February.
"The results of the survey will be used to assist the university in understanding the unique needs of businesses and organizations in the Virgin Islands …," Ilene Garner, UVI-Cell director, said.
Individuals or organizations interested in participating may contact the center at 693-1100.
