FREDERIKSTED POLICE RECEIVE NEW BIKES

Feb. 11, 2004 — Wednesday afternoon at GNC's Sunny Isle store, the VIPD's Frederiksted bike patrol unit received a donation of six new bikes from Shoreline Management Group.
A St. Croix-based financial management company, Shoreline donated $4,000 for the customized patrol bikes, which are equipped with bike racks, lights, multitool kits and even tire repair kits.
GNC, the health and nutrition store, helped Shoreline with its donation by purchasing and building the bikes.
The St. Croix Foundation, a nonprofit community development organization in Gallows Bay, partnered with Shoreline to facilitate the donation.
