PHONE COMPANY GIVEN FEB. 13 DEADLINE TO PAY PSC

I find it interesting that WAPA can (and has) cut service to electricity for ordinary citizens but doesn't cut power for government agencies that owe past-due bills.
That, I believe, is blatant, and illegal, discrimination.
WAPA is always moaning about the millions of dollars that the government agencies owe them and have stated that, if the bills were paid off, their financial position would be a lot better.
A simple solution would be to "pull the plug" on the debtors for all the money owed beyond thirty days and keep it off until the agencies bring cash — no checks please — plus the $15 reconnect charge.
The screaming and yelling would be heard all the way to Florida, but WAPA's other customers who do pay their bills would be better off.
Basically, Mr. Bruno-Vega – Don't shut me off until all the others who owe your company have paid their damn bills.
