WAPA TO HOLD TOWN MEETING

Feb. 2, 2004 – The V.I. Water and Power Authority will hold a town meeting in St. John on Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in the Legislature building.
The town meeting will be followed by a meeting of the WAPA governing board.
The public is invited to both meetings.
"We're very concerned about making sure everybody knows what WAPA's activities are in St. John," WAPA spokeswoman Patricia Blake Simmonds said.
She estimated that the town meeting would run about an hour, with the board meeting lasting another one to two hours.
