V.I. TRACK ATHLETES INVITED TO COMPETE

Jan. 21, 2004 — The Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation announced today that the Virgin Islands has received several invitations to regional and world championship events and that VITFF will be selecting national team members to represent the Territory in these competitions.
Competitions include: CARIFTA, World Indoor, World Junior, Leeward Islands, NACAC Under-23, World Cross-Country and the Athens Olympic Games.
Athletes who are interested in competing for a V.I. National Team must be eligible and qualified. Several local track and field meets are scheduled for the season including the V.I. National Championships.
Athletes are encouraged to inform their coach of their interest and to complete and submit the VITFF registration form, which is available at virginislandspace.org"
