RESIDENTS MUST TAKE THEIR ISLAND BACK

Dear Source,
St. Croix is dying … while the senators drive those SUV's right through the sewage not only in F'std but what about the flow thru C'std where some of those passengers might have gone also … Fight Back St. Croix residents in the memory of Martin Luther King Jr … do it peacefully with dignity and use your right to vote … Stand Up For Your Rights … I am lacing up my marching sneakers … tell me where to bring my sign, my
vote and my anger … Think 1960s … we must fight for our safety … this sewage in the streets puts our health at risk … Please arise Virgin Islanders … the sleeping dog is getting angry … The
federal government may be our only hope of survival … Who will lead the March for St Croix? … we are praying for help … will it come in
time? … We are locked in our homes … bars on the windows an doors … fighting off the robbers in our neighborhoods … we must demand
more of our government … we love our little piece of paradise but how much longer can we hold on … our police ranks are depleted by the war
in Iraq, Afganistan,Korea … Those brave men and women who are left are trying to do the work of several officers but because their raises are
frozen are working 2 or 3 other jobs to make ends meet … Iraq doesn't have any cruise ships stopping either but we have more in common with them than we care to admit … Have faith my
neighbors … we can change this … we have the power…..this is our Virgin Islands … we want it back . As the old Irish blessing goes … May God hold us in his hands.
Sincerely,
Chris Bucher
