VIHA TO HOLD RESIDENT LEADER ELECTIONS

Sept. 14, 2003 – The Virgin Islands Housing Authority's Department of Resident Services has announced that the election date for resident leaders in both the St. Croix and the St. Thomas-St. John districts will be Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Elections will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in each VIHA community, and all bonafide public housing residents age 18 and older are eligible to vote.
St. Thomas residents needing further information about the election or the election process may call Resident Services Supervisor Jennifer I. Lettsome-Tuckett at 777-8442, ext. 7396; St. Croix residents may contact Acting Resident Supervisor Kathleen Greenaway at 778-8442, ext. 2365. Residents may also contact the community services specialist for their community.
