Dear Source,
I have to agree with Lawrence Boschulte: what a missed opportunity!! (See NBA playoffs: Ads could have been big V.I. payoff.)
I don't know too much about Raja Bell, but Tim Duncan is definitely a household name. I can see Duncan doing a pitch for his homeland with little or no money being generated on his behalf, simply because he loves his island. He knows the trouble St. Croix is in and I would bank on it that he would do something like a commercial promoting home.
Mr. Boschulte needs to keep this fresh in the minds of our leaders and not let this idea go to waste. Keep them on their toes and don't let up! I now live in the Atlanta area via St. John, but the folks still living at home need to press this situation. The Virgin Islands is in need of huge exposure and what a great opportunity missed. Hope next time around (if there is a next time) our leaders don't blow it.
