BUSINESS SEMINARS TO FOCUS ON BUSINESS PLANS

April 23, 2003 — The small business seminars presented by the University of the Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center will be held May 5 and 12 at the training facility in Nisky Center. The workshops will focus on writing effective business plans.
Daryl Edwards will present on May 5 on topics including the importance of a business plan, explaining the format of a business plan, important contents to include, and forms of ownership.
On May 12, Linroy E. Freeman will discuss how to prepare cash flow, projections and funding considerations.
Both seminars will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the UVI-Small Business Development Center Training Facility at Nisky Center. Admission for each seminar is $20, but if you pre-register and pay for both seminars by 12 noon on Monday, May 5, 2003 , the cost is only $25 for both. Admission for UVI faculty, staff and students is free, although they must pre-register.
