April 9, 2003 – At Friday's public hearing of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, three requests for zoning amendments will be discussed. The public will have the chance to voice its opinions on the zoning requests at the 10 a.m. meeting to be held in the DPNR conference room at Cyril E. King Airport.
The first item is a request to change Parcels Nos. A-2 and A-1-A Estate Thomas from R-1 (Residential-Low Density) to B-3 (Business-Scattered).
The second request is in Estate Frydendahl, Parcels Nos. 52, 52-3 and 52-3-A, where an application has been made to change the zoning from R-2 (Residential-Low Density, one and two family) to B-3.
Third is a request from the Housing, Parks and Recreation Department to change Parcel No. 33-139 Estate Nadir from R-2 to S (Special) and to change Parcels Nos. 178-217, 178-230, 178-231 and part of 178 Estate Altona and Welgunst from R-4 (Residential-Medium Density) to S (Special) for home ownership.
