TRAFFIC REDUCED TO ONE LANE AGAIN

April 3, 2003 – Traffic will be reduced to one lane from Friday until Tuesday on Turpentine Run Road near the Better Roads Asphalt plant while installation of sewer pipes for the Mangrove Lagoon sewage treatment plant collection system continues.
A construction signal will be used to control the flow of two-way traffic, according to a release from the Public Works Department, and motorists are urged to slow down and pay attention to traffic signs when traveling in the area.
Though the new sewage treatment plant is operational, the old pipes leading from the former treatment plant continue to be used while they are being replaced, according to a contractor familiar with the project.
