UVI TRUSTEES TO MEET ON ST. THOMAS

Feb. 17, 2003 – The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in the Sports and Fitness Center on the St. Thomas campus.
The meeting will convene with regular session agenda items, beginning with the President's Report. Requiring the board's action are several issues pertaining to areas of the revised Faculty Policy Manual. The Finance Committee will provide updates on quarterly appropriations from the government and on the university's budget performance through December 2002. The board will also hear reports from the Buildings and Grounds and Planning Committees.
This is the first board meeting of the calendar year. The board last met on October 12, 2002, on the St. Croix campus. Dr. Auguste E. Rimpel Jr. is the chairman of the board of trustees.
