Dear Source,
Wow, it sure didn't take long for problems to arise with the video gaming plan — another great call by our government. Now it will cost the taxpayers and the government more money to investigate and prosecute. Sound economic policy at its finest!
This situation is even better than the Port Authority's decision to stick a knife in the backs of all of us who depend on tourists to make our businesses successful. The airfares to the islands are already so out-of-proportion to other vacation destinations. I am sure that this increase will almost certainly result in fewer flights and higher prices, and will just about stop the slow trickle of visitors. If they can't come by cruise ships or planes, how are they supposed to visit? It would be embarrassing if it wasn't so sad.
