Sept. 4, 2002 – Due to technical difficulties, the Housing Authority did not issue September Section 8 Program housing assistance checks on Tuesday as scheduled.
"We hope to be back on line and ready to release the checks on Wednesday," Housing Authority acting director Al Simmonds said in a release.
The checks go to landlords, agents and tenants for housing assistance payments and utility allowances.
