FAST FERRY TO BE BACK IN SERVICE FRIDAY

April 11, 2002 – Following a four-day shutdown, the V.I. Fast Ferry will resume regularly scheduled service between St. Croix and St. Thomas on Friday, according to a release from the operation's parent company, Boston Harbor Cruises.
The high-speed catamaran Salacia will again be making three round trips daily, seven days a week, through May 5, the release stated, with some additional runs planned for the final week of V.I. Carnival.
Repairs and maintenance work have been completed on St. Croix, and the vessel has been "returned to 100 percent effectiveness," the release said. For further information, call 719-0099.
