MAPP PFA APPOINTMENT ILL ADVISED

Dear Source,
I write to share my views and disgust at the announcement that a flawed Republican, a discarded politician, has been "voted" to head the Public Finance Authority under Democratic Gov. Turnbull.
It will be very difficult to replace the highly respected, experienced, educated Amadeo Francis, whose removal by the same few , from the post has not yet been explained. Being the gentleman that he is, Mr. Francis offers no explanation.
Politicians who flaunt their violations of our laws without any apology; who disrespect the highest offices in the V.I., the Senate, should not be employed in a respectful Democratic administration, especially when their credentials for this type of position are lacking.
Mr. Amadeo Francis' expertise will obviously be more than necessary under this political arrangement. In fact it will be necessary to retain his professional services and the only things he will not do are recommend or sign checks for "change orders" not requested by the PFA, or for "political give away" contracts.
This ill-advised sweet deal must be reversed before serious damage is done to our government.
